Winner Qualifications for Las Vegas

American Novuss Association (ANA) is planning to continue its single’s “Best of the Best” tournament in Las Vegas. When the annual tournament will be scheduled, the players to be invited after making their pre-qualification – of getting 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd places at any ANA sponsored rating tournament in the United States/Canada (these tournaments are held in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Washington DC, Chicago, New Jersey and New York). ANA Membership is a required for participation in the tournaments. In addition, all FINSO rated world cup staged tournament single men’s medalists are automatically qualified as well as women’s first place champions. FINSO Doubles champions are qualified for “Best of the Best” in Las Vegas. Latvian Novuss Federations and Estonian Novuss Union all time Champions and/or medalists are automatically qualified for “Best of the Best” in Las Vegas.

ANA successfully held several USA/Canada joined tournaments in Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC during 2022 (see results and pictures in “Past Tournaments” tab of our website).

ANA was hosting I Stage World Cup FINSO tournament in New Jersey in May 2022 with participation of great players from Latvia, Estonia, Canada and USA (see results and pictures in “Past Tournaments” tab of our website).

ANA players continue to receive Ranking and Individual Koefficient (IK) after each tournament since beginning of 2021 (see the link above).

“Best of the Best” tournament in Las Vegas has been cancelled this year – looking forward to resuming it as soon as possible

In 2021, the American Novuss Association announced the “Master of Novuss” Title, including a specially made lapel pin and diploma (for complete award rules, see “News” tab of this website).

Congratulations to Leonid Meylakh – second ANA member to meet all criteria and has been awarded ANA “Master of Novuss” Title after completion of FINSO Stage I on May 14, 2022 in NJ, USA

Congratulations to Olgerts Vinklers – third ANA member to meet all criteria and has been awarded ANA “Master of Novuss” Title after completion of April Cup on May 22, 2023 in Bronx, NY, USA

Congratulations to Leonid Meylakh – first ANA member to meet all criteria and has been awarded ANA ” Grand Master of Novuss” Title after winning individual championship of FINSO Stage II on May 20, 2023 in LA, USA
