The top 10 Novuss players, most
of whom are Latvian, squared off Saturday in Fountain
Valley for bragging rights the Novuss World
Best of the Best West Coast tournament. Jan ("Yan")
Daugavietis pictured below right, took the $1,000
top prize.
Novuss is a table game
that looks like a miniature concept of pool, but
uses pucks instead. It's easy to play, tough to
master.
Novuss hubs are in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto.
